I could clearly see the attention to detail and intention that went into planning Erin and Jamal’s mountaintop wedding. Hosting a small wedding does not mean you need to skimp on the thoughtful touches - always find ways to show up and represent who you both are on the wedding day! A small group of family and close friends gathered together on a late summer day to celebrate the commitment of these two overlooking the blue ridge mountains.

Let’s start with this VIP guest - Grammy! Grammy uses a wheelchair so getting her to the overlook took some care. The trail leading to the ceremony spot is short but rocky and full of bumpy roots. So these groomsmen gathered to carry Grammy and make sure she could enjoy the day!
I just loved how Jamal and Erin quickly wanted to unwrap their ceremonial hand-fasting in order to wrap their arms around one another.
